Science and software are not usually associated with each other. The article pique my interest because that is exactly what I'm setting out to do. Use software to increase research. Contrary to the commercials you see about "the newest software" we don't have a good understanding with computers enough to make a good language. We are still using programming theories that were implemented over 70 years ago. I believe it is time for a software theory upgrade and science is the way to do it. Right now video games have been the major driving influence on software development. Those are based on interactivity. Most software is. Little attention is placed on mechanics of the language. I don't have any crazy alternative but I do believe one does exist. Hardware has developed so much that a new style of programming is needed not just a new language. You never know, we might be able to keep a language just change the mechanics. Until someone actively pursue this, we will be stuck programming the hardware the "long" way. When a new hardware is designed, it has the upgraded hardware. Then the new software is designed with old theories. One of these things is not like the other. The requirements for science are far greater than the requirements for personal computer or video games. Therefore this would be a good start to learning these new theories.

ITS OFFICIAL!!! EINSTEIN IS A GENIUS!!!
Today I saw a jet taking off in the
distance. It caught my eye because it was moving sideways as well as
up. Understanding aerodynamics pretty well I figured wow those winds
are moving up there. But then I started to think about it for a
second. Einstein Theory of Relativity. That airplane is moving
separately from the earth while still being trapped in earth's
gravity so therefore the plane will move with the earth just not
exactly with it. Outside of earths gravitational pull space stations
can move at an independent velocity than earths because of low
gravity. This is because the earth itself is the focal point of
gravity not the space around it. The farther you go the lower the
gravity is, allowing the plane to move a different horizontal
velocity than the earth. So what I saw was a airplane moving up and
horizontally(planes will move horizontally in vertical climb because of the way wind moves across the plane..that's what rudders are designed to correct) That is why I thought of the strong winds. The winds can get over 100mph probly more if the conditions are right. I've seen a plane land at 60degrees yaw, and go straight. Horizontal movement is common but I saw a high rate of horizontal movement caused by all the right conditions. If the gravity was EVEN throughout our atmosphere then
I wouldn't be able to see the plane move horizontally because that
speed will be the same. Einstein is a genius.

ENC 1101 Blog Post #1
Mother Tongue, by Amy Tan
Mother Tongue is a woman trying to
understand how properly communicating literature to the target
audience is very important. She shows her concern when describing
events when her mother interacted with people outside her family.
Her anger towards this shows up in the story, although, it is not a
prominent tone. The writer seemed excited to tell the success her
mother had when communicating to a target audience that understood
her. Her mother didn't have any trouble communicating at home and
even the writers friends understood a little. I'm pretty sure the
writer's mother communicated enough with the writers friends that she
knew how to properly communicate to them. My grandmother speaks this
style of broken English, except her first language is Spanish. My
grandmother knows things that doesn't make sense for her to know.
Like some of the Technology industry trends when she lives in
backwoods Puerto Rico. You wouldn't know this because of her
English. I understand the frustration the writer was going through.
The writer changed her tone to positive excitement when she started
to describe how she can take this “crutch”, and use it to her
advantage in her writing. She ended up writing a book for mothers.
She understood her target audience. She was targeting mothers not
English 1101 teachers in her book. The author is very passionate
about the artistic side of communicating. She wants to preserve the
language a person has internally, the language in which you think.
She succeeded when her mother said: “So easy to read”.

NERD ALERT!!!!!
Most people get excited with a new Apple anything, but I'm excited today for the official release of Visual Studio 2012. I've been using it for a couple of months now and it is eons better than 2010 which itself was a great package. We've already been using next-gen hardware on computers with a major update this year with the market availability, now we finally have a software kit designed for next-gen hardware. The new software Framework 4.5 is being released with this officially. The beta version I've been using for the last 6 months doesn't have XNA Game Studio support and it doesn't at release, but it's Microsoft bread...it'll have support. The XNA Game Studio is the framework that XBOX and Live! games are built on. I'm hoping the extended wait is for a new XNA Framework. This program will learn how you type. It learns how you organize code. You have to use it a lot to really see happen(it is noticeable). I'm going to have to reteach Studio my style but that's okay, I always could brush up on basics. Oh and for you people who know what that is.....that is plus a very easy Macro Interface. The next-gen developers are pushing for a more efficient development environment. Our graphics are not going to get any much better than they are now, at least for a couple more years. Although really good graphics exist for people who can buy 16-core, multi xfire computers. Being able to have a decent turnaround time with minimal support is going to be what gives us the "XBOX 720 or PS4" games. The lowest version is like $499 all the way up to like $10k for the full developer "ULTIMATE EDITION". XNA Game Studio is available to any registered user of Visual Studio for free, so is all the updates, and templates. But that is what is getting me out of bed today, get school done so I can watch the Keynote.(told you nerd alert!!)

Quantive um......lemme finish college first!!!
Quantive Computing. Right now in Physics, there is a revolution of thought that is taking place. Imagine how everybody has grown up to believe the basic laws of Pysics. We thow an apple up, GET OUT THE WAY!!!! it has to come down. Two cars hitting each other causes lots and lots of bad days. You get the idea. Now think, scientific proof exists that completely takes everything you thought you knew about the basics and throw it out of the window. Atoms being in two places at once. The same atom is here AND there. When you observe an atom go to two slits in a sheet you only see one, if unobserved it goes through both holes at the same time. There is probly like 3 people on this planet that understands this completely.
That takes me to Quantive Computing. Being able to run two process at once. You might think, 'oh, my computer can make more than two processes at once', false. Anything on a computer is going to read 1 or 0, yes or no, or in realistic literal terms: on or off. Quantive Computing is 1 AND 0, on AND off. No matter how fast you think your computer is, Quantive Computers are going to always be super stoopid crazy oh wow look at them go fast.
I think I managed to sum up Quantive Computing. I wanted to talk about that because I read an article recently that got me excited for the future of Quantum Physics. It has been awhile since I heard anything big on Quantum Computers. Scientists understand the theory enough to start running simulations. Less than 80 years ago scientists were just making the first theories on Quantum Physics. Now we stand at the possibility to manipulate the basic building blocks of the whole universe. We are not going to be able to travel the heavens anytime soon, but every study is showing that the possibilites are there, Quantum Physics is the only thing that could probly take us there(as far as we know).
Just a thought to get the brain moving!!!
The article is about how scientists are using the open-source community to aide in the research. The artile does give resources for further study into the subject. No cats were harmed in the development of this blog. Thank you.

Just a thought...
At the beginning of the school year,
there is so many things we need to obtain to get the best education
we possibly can. I'm going to focus on the PC. There is currently
two popular formats, but not the only ones. One format is Windows PC
that has a dominant share of the PC market. It has a very famous
name, Microsoft, it has pretty colors, and pretty much everywhere you
go, there it is. Not a bad platform, great for what most users
require. The other one is Mac PC. User interface is almost
invisible(great in programming terms), non destructive file
management which makes it great for running a business. One great
thing about a Mac is that all the software and hardware is integrated
meaning what Windows sees as variables Macs can see absolute terms
which increases the overall performance. Bill Gates home was
designed on a Mac. Steve Jobs programmed on Visual Studio. Linux
and all its mystique is slowly starting to gain ground on the two
giants. Linux is a community based software in that a “company”
doesn't support it directly, they just add to the existing
functionality. This creates programs not limited by big company
budgets or marketing trends(which is how most proprietary companies
operate, well their a business nothing wrong with that). Linux big
sell point: Software is only limited to what the user can
accomplish. If you are computer savvy check out Ubuntu. Because
software is indirectly supported it does taking getting used to how
to operate the system. The community is very vocal about bad
software, so do research before you download, but I can say that good
software is not very hard to find. If you don’t plan on running a
business or create a new Picasso, and just mostly wanna facebook, do
your homework(openoffice.org), and just keep up with things check out
Ubuntu. I'm working on a career in Software so I use Ubuntu for my
personal computer and my workstation uses Windows.
Oh yeah, Valve just announced recently
that they are working on a Steam Client for Linux systems
check me out!!!!!
Check out my google+ page, it has a video and photo player and will use that to show off videos and photos of the projects. You can check out my profile now @ https://plus.google.com/u/0/#116845056120795915474/videos.
